赤泥泡沫的物相组成
Phase Composition of Red Mud Foam
【摘要】 本文对添加20%的CaO溶出铝土矿后的赤泥泡沫进行了研究,通过电镜观察、电子探针微区成分分析,X射线衍射及差热重物相分析,证明赤泥泡沫是含SiO2少、颗粒细的水化石榴石相和少量的游离Ca(OH)2相。这些物质容易生成泡沫,导致赤泥沉降洗涤槽冒槽,造成有用的赤泥洗液的机械损失。石灰添加量越大,起泡现象越严重,这种损失也越大。
【Abstract】 A certain kind of red mud foam was studied. It occured during the process of red mud sedimentation, in which 20% CaO had been added. Through the observation by SEM, analysis by X-ray diffraction, EPMA and DTG, We have proved that the red mud foam contains two solid phases, one is a granular hydrograssularite containing less SiO2 and the other is free Ca(OH)2, which is only a little part in the foam. These substances cause the formation of foam easily and consequently the foam will overflow from the tank of the red mud subsider, so that plenty of the mother liquid of the sediment will be lost. The more CaO is added, the thicker foams thus are formed, and the greater the loss will be.
