【Abstract】 A simple and effective pulsed optically pumped FIR laser with a stable cavity has been made. The cavity consisted of an ion crystal KCl and a Au-coated concave mirror with a hole in center.Here the high Reststrahlen reflection in FIR range and the high transmittivity charactesictic in IR range of ion crystal KCl was used. By using a grating-tuned TEA-CO₂ laser to pump D₂O vapour in this cavity, three strong FIR lines 57, 60 and 66 μm were obtained.更多还原
