【Abstract】 This paper deals with a new species of parasitic nematode belonging to the genus Physalopteriata Sobolev, 1949 collected from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in August 1976 and 1977. Denticles and papillae in the caudal alae of male were examined with scanning electron microscopy. The type specimens are deposited in the Section of Zoology, Department of Biology, Nanjing University.Physalopteriata phrynocephali sp. nov. (figs. 1-10)Host: Phrynocephalus axillaris.Location: Stomach, and abdominal cavity.Locality: Yecheng County, Xinjiang, China.Types: Holotype , allotype ,. paratypes 10 4.The new species differs from the 3 known species of the genus P. schulzi Sobolev, 1949, P. citelli Chabaud, 1959 and P. mnstelae Zhang et Yin, 1980 in the smaller size of the body, in the dissimilar and unequal spicules (R. S.. 1.714-2.355 mm, L. S. 0.140-0.213 mm) and in having one large central tooth, 5-11 small teeth and a row of small denticles on each side of the pseudolabium.更多还原
