我国东部第四纪的海陆过渡相地层
QUATERNARY STRATIGRAPHY OF MARINE-CONTINENTAL TRANSITIONAL FACIES IN EAST CHINA
【摘要】 <正> 第四纪期间我国海区的海面升降,以及东部沿海第四纪海侵的研究,近年来已经引起地质工作者的广泛注意。有孔虫、介形虫、孢粉等微体化石的运用,在海侵研究中起着十分重要的作用。然而,在寻找海侵地层的过程中也出现了一种值得注意的倾向,那就是把凡是找到一点海相化石(如有孔虫)的地层,统统叫做海相层,一概划在古海岸线之外。即使在大批的陆相介形虫化石群中发现一枚有孔虫,竟然也被称作"海相"。其实,并不是只在海相地层中才有海相化石。在上海的黄浦江沉积物中含有随潮水带来的有孔虫,但是并不能因此把黄浦江称作"海"。河口(包括河口附近的支流)、渴湖、潮间带等界于海和陆地之间的海陆过渡相环境,通常也都含有海相化石,而且沉积速率最
【Abstract】 The strat igraphy of Quaternary transgressions in East China are mainly marine-continental transitional sediments rather than marine ones. According to the data of 36 drillings on the coast plains, the marine-continental transitional sediments are in thickness 2.38 times that of the marine sediment. These two facies maybe easily distinguished accnching to mic-ropaleontlogical criteria provided by the results of micropaleontological analyses of hundreds of surface samples taken from different depositional environments ranging from open seas, river mouths and guefs, lagoons, littoral zones, fresh-water and saline lakes, from Liao-dong Peninsula in the North to the Hainan Island in the South. Moreover, different estuaries, littoral and lagoonal facies are recogniz can be identifcid by the within the transitional stratrgrapluial facies. The importance of the stratum of the marine-continetal transitional facies, far exceeds their great thickness and extensive distribution, for they play a unigne and important sole in the study of paleogeography negcneralion, stratigraphic correlation, and neotectonic moremen. Confusion of transitional with marine facies will necessarily lead to errors in the reconstruction of coastline, in the evaluation of the scale of transgression, and in the stratigraphic correlation.
