鼠疟原虫配子体在小白鼠体内数量消长与分布的初步研究
STUDY ON THE FLUCTUATION OF THE NUMBER AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF GAMETOCYTES OF PLASMODIUM YOELII YOELII IN INFECTED MICE
【摘要】 本文观查了鼠疟原虫配子体在感染的小白鼠体内的数量消长与分布规律,无菌腹腔接种小白鼠后,配子体出现有两个高峰,配子体在小白鼠体内分布末梢血多于心脏血。这有利于感染蚊子。配子体数量与感染率和血液中白细胞数有一定关系。
【Abstract】 After the intraperitoneal injection of mice with the Plasmodium yoelii yoelii there were two peaks of the number of gametocytes appearing in the blood stream, i. e., at 3 to 4 days and 11 to 13 days. The first peak was much higher and characterized by the low number of WBC and parasites. While the second peak, appeared at 11 to 13 days after infection was characterized by the high number of WBC and parasites. Each peak lasted for only one day. The gametocytes in mice were distributed more in the peripheral blood. This provides a good opportunity for the mosquitoes to mediate the infection.
