【Abstract】 About 40 diamond wire-drawing dies have been implanted with N in differention energies and various doses. Implanted and unimplanted dies have been applicated in production condition in order to compare their lifetimes. The lifetime of implanted ones is as much as 2—3 times of unimplanted. For understanding the reason why the lifetime of diamond dies can be improved by ion implantation, diamond samples implanted with nitrogen have been analized by XPS, SEM and EPR.更多还原
