【Abstract】 In the present study a comparative analysis of the egg white proteins among three species of the genus Crossoptilon was conducted by using 0.5 mm thin layer gel electro-focusing and gel scanning. The results indicate that the Blue Eared Pheasant (C. auritum) is more closely related to the Tibetan Eared Pheasant (C. crossoptilon) than the Brown Eared Pheasant (C. mantchuricum). Moreover a preliminary investigation into the geographical distribution, skeletal and fossil material of Crossoptilon was made and the evidences correspond to the electrofocusing results.更多还原
