【Abstract】 This paper shows that in Anqing area of Anhui province the shelter belt of sil(?) could be used to protect citrus trees from cold in winter. The effect of (?0 belt of silvergrass is the same as that of forest shelter belt in protecting citrus trees from cold. And this shelter belt grows much faster than any other Shelter belt.According to the observation, the velocity of wind could be decreased effectively by this silvergrass shelter belt. In the leeward side of the belt there exists a warmer zone which is about 3H-5H distance form the belt (H is the height of the belt) and in this zone, however, the air temperature and humidity are much higher than that in any other place on either side of the belt.更多还原
