毛竹林地下结构与产量初析

【Abstract】 In this paper the relationship between the underground structure and the yield of bamboo stands is analysed. The analysis is based on the data collected through a survey of both the above and the under ground parts of bamboo stands. Data were collected from thirty-six column soil on 12 sample plots, The regressin equation of vertical distribution amount of the rhizomes referring to the bulk density of soil can be obtained as: Y=92, 049266.7869x, The result shows that the vertical distribution amount of rhizomes of Phyllostachys pubescens is in inverse proportion to the bulk density of soil. Generally speaking if the bulk density of soil is less than 1.15 it is favourable to the growth of rhizomes. Most of the rhizomes are distributed in the 0-30 cm layer of soil. They account for 80 percent of the total amount and they are mainly distributed in the 10-30 cm layer. It has been found that there are a large number of stumps in bamboo stands, about 108 per mu. These stumps occupy as much as one tenth of the forest laud space growth of the rhizomes and the development of bamboo shoots. In terms of the above ground part, the bamboo age structure is the main factor that affects the yield. Therefore, it is very economic and effective to regulate the bamboo age structure and improve the growth conditions for raising the yield per unit area,
