番木瓜的光合作用途径
THE PHOTOSYNTHETIC PATHWAY OF PAPAYA (CARICA PAPAYA)
【摘要】 番木瓜(Caraca papaya)叶片有低的13C/12C值(δ 13C为-25‰),低的PEP羧化酶活性(12.2单位/毫克蛋白质/分)。乙醇酸氧化酶活性为24~57单位/毫克蛋白质/分,光呼吸为3~5毫克CO2/平方分米/小时,光呼吸及暗呼吸的比率为1.7~2.5。氧对光合作用有抑制现象。没有发现叶片中的Kranz结构。这些特征加上过去对其光合作用速率、CO2补偿点,光饱和点及光合作用最适温度的分析结果,表明番木瓜是C3植物。
【Abstract】 The leaf of papaya (Carica papaya) showed low δ13C (-25‰), low activity of phosphoenoIpyruvate carboxylase (12.9. U mg-1 protein min-1), high activity of glycolate oxidase (24-57 U mg-1 protein min-1). The rate of photorespiration was 3~5 mgCO2 dm-2 hr-1 and the light/dark ratio was 1.7~2.5. It appeared art inhibition effect of high oxygen concentration on photosynthesis. No Kranz syndrome was found in its leaves. All these characteristics taken together with the data in the previously work indicate that papaya is a C3 plant.
