水稻品种抗二化螟鉴定方法研究

【摘要】 为做好抗二化螟水稻的鉴定工作,作者于近年探索了二化螟饲养及大量保存技术。结果表明:在大田自然感虫条件下抗性表现在3级以上的品种,需进行室内、室外多次重复的人工接虫鉴定才能肯定抗性。这就需要积累大量的虫源。作者采取的办法是天然饲料饲养幼虫加上低温保卵、幼虫和蛹。研究表明:前、后期卵均比中期卵耐低温。

【Abstract】 In recent years the writer has been eugaged in exploiting techniques for mass rearing and storing of the striped rice borer,Chilo suppressalis (Walker),so that he would be able to get reliable result in the eva- luation of rice varieties as to their resistance to the borer.Although field evaluation was based on a natural infestation,those varieties showed promise are subjected to further evaluation by use of artificial inocula- tion。That’s why storage of the immature stages of the striped rice borer is imperative. Cold storage of egg masses,newly-hatched larvae,mature larvae as well as pupae has been tested.The last two stages are only good for obtaining moths for propagation,the newly-hatched larvae survive poorly on being cold-storaged.Even under 14.5℃,they can live for only2~3 days.As to the eggs,it was found that the 2-day old eggs are the least cold-resistant,while those either younger or older are much harder.At a temperature of 8℃,eggs other than the middleaged can sustain 12 days without losing viability.
