碳质人工关节的研究及其临床应用
STUDUES ON ARTIFICIAL CARBON JOINTS AND THEIR CLINICAL APPLICATION
【摘要】 吉林市第一人民医院骨科与吉林碳素厂研究所合作,于1977年开始此项研究工作,通过材料的研究及动物试验,于1979年6月到1982年8月临床应用了27例病人(28个假体),经复查收到了令人满意的效果。 我们认为碳质材料是良好的人工关节材料。它具备对组织很强的亲和性、抗压、耐磨、耐腐蚀、重量轻以及良好的生物相容性。其弹性模量与骨近似,破坏应变大于氧化铝陶瓷。唯此材料不象金属具有展延性,抗冲击韧性略差。
【Abstract】 <ABSTRACT>Since carbon had been successfully used in cardiac valves in 1977, we began the present study. After repeated technological designs and animal experiments, artificial carbon joints were used clinically in 1979.By the end of August 1982, We had implanted artificial carbon joints in 27 cases ( 28 joints ) over different parts of the body.Results suggest that carbon is an ideal material for artificial joints.It is chemically stable, of low specific gravity and high compressive strength and resistant to corrosion and electrolysis. It has a breaking strength hig her than and elasticity comparable to that of bone. Its wear resistance is higher than that of alloy steels ( Ti), and its destruction resistance greater than that of A12O3 ceramics. Besides it has a better tissue compatibility and is not toxic.However,owing to its lack of tenacity against impulsive, force, its further application for more complex implants needs further studies to improve the technological level.
