【Abstract】 Transposition of lengthened omentum or microsurgical trans-plantation of an omental graft to the brain provides an effective source ofcollateral flow, because of the development of newly formed omental-cere-bral vascular connections. The promising results obtained in experimental re-search have led to clinical applications of these procedures. Controlled stud-ies are needed in order to assess the actual effectiveness of the omental tech-niques in the treatment of selected cases with ischaemic cerebrovascular disease.更多还原
