【Abstract】 The studies showed that protein contents of F₁ hybrids were between those of both parents and trended towards the high parent.It was shown that protein contents of F₂ population were widespreadly segregated, and the distribution was continuous and nearly normal. However, there was also transgressive segregation in the F₂. Maternal inheritance for protein content of F₁ hybrids and F₂ population appeared in the experiments of reciprocal crosses. Protein content was significantly and positively correlated with 100-seed weight and maturity. The results could be used as reference for choosing parents and handling hybrid population.更多还原
