组合计算问题的多处理机系统
A MULTIPROCESSOR SYSTEM FOR COMBI-NATORIAL COMPUTING
【摘要】 本文叙述一个为解决组合式计算问题而研制的树型结构多处理机系统,重点论述了为适应多处理机环境对PASCAL语言所作的扩充(PASCAL-C语言),详细说明了PASCAL-C语言的语法、语义及执行过程。对系统结构给予扼要的描述并附有用PASCAL-C语言求解组合问题的程序实例。
【Abstract】 In exact computation, a number of problems exist, the solution to which demands an exhaustive search and hence a great deal of computing time. This paper deals with a tree-structured multiprocessor system for combi- patorial Computing. Each node of the system consists of a mini-or micro- processor with sufficient memory to run independently. Each processor can be a master or a slave or both. A master assigns tasks to the slaves and subsequently obtains results from them. The user expresses the problem being solved in a high level language called PASCAL-C. This is conventional PASCAL with a number of additional constructs. The syntax, semantics and implementation of PASCAL-C are specified, and an example program written in PASCAL-C is presented.
