【Abstract】 In this paper a detailed discussion is made of the competition effect between regular and sequence bands of CO, lasers. It is suggested that laser intracavity intensity could be a criterion determining the competition ability of both the competing laser bands. According to this criterion, oscillating band in a laser cavity can properly be predicted. The criterion can also be used to design a new kind of CO₂ laser which can be switched quickly and conveniently between regular and sequence bands.更多还原
