青少年中长跑运动员次最大强度负荷的心肺功能动态观察
THE DYNAMIC OBSERVATION ON CARDIOPULMONARY FUNCTION OF ADOLESCENT MIDDLE AND LONG DISTANCE RUNNERS DURING SUBMAXIMUM EXERCISE
【Abstract】 Apparently, there is particular significance in understanding the effect of middle and long distance run oncardiopulmonary function of adolescent. 43 adolescent female and male middle and long distance runners and agroup of 108 age- and sex- matched non-athlete controls were observed while they were carrying out exerciseload on a bicycle ergometer in sitting position. All tests were performed in an autocontrolled thermostatic (24°C) shelter. The results are: (1) The volumeof oxygen uptake (VO2) of both the female and male subject groups and that of the control group are increasedlinearly associated with the increase of exercise loads, and become stable when the maximum volume of oxygen uptake (VO2max) appears. (2) During the course of exercise the oxygen pulse (O2P) of each group increasesmany folds in comparison with that during test, but the values of the subject group are greater than that ofthe control group (p<0.01). The values of cardiac output (CO), stroke volume (SV), shortening velocity ofminor axis of left ventricle (△D%), ejection fraction (EF%), velocity of circumferential fiber shortening(Vcf), heart rate (HR), and myocardial oxygen consumption volume (VO2cm) of adolescent middle and long dis-tance runners are all more adaptable to greater exercise load than the non-athlete controls, and the runnerspresent greater blood supply capacity than the later (p<0.01). According to the paramenters of left ventricularmorphology, the adolescent middle and long distance runners have greater preload and there is a tendency thatthe left ventricule gets thicker in comparison with the non-trained controls (P<0.05). It seems that our study does not give support to the argument that running is harmful to organism, whichis the thesis in the discussion of "Athlete’s heart".
