【Abstract】 Faunal analysis based on 118 species of pentatomid insects of the family pentatomidae found in Fujian province shows that this province is predominated by Indo-malaysian elements consisting of 82.2% of species confined to the Oriental Region or 92.4% of species ranging within and beyond the Oriental Region, with very low percentage of Palaearctic elements penetrating southward into this pro- vince.
