【Abstract】 56 male rabbits were divided into three groups fed on cholesterol, soybean oil with cholesterol and OFCMW with cholesterol respectively. The result indicated that the OFCMW differed not significantly from soybean oil in the effect on blood lipids. The OFCMW attenuated the aortic atherosclerotic lesions of the rabbits and less cholesterol was accumulated in the intima of their aorta. Therefore, we suppose that OFCMW could be good vegetable oil for the patient with coronary heart disease. However, the mechanism concerning its effect on formation of atherosclerotic lesion remains to be explored.更多还原
