【Abstract】 The cryoprobe soaked in liquid nitrogen is a new cryother- apic instrument with metallic material as its cold storage.It is provided with the advantages of simplicity,convenience and wide adaptation.In the clinic,it has been used effectively for the cryoextraction of cataract,cryoblock of fissures in retinal detachment.A new and effective therapeutic way was found in the treatment of herpes simplex keratitis,blepharal nevi,infl- amentory granuloma on palpebra and ocular hemangiomata.In this article,a rather detailed discussion has been held about the history of cryotherapy and various kinds of methods in the trea- tment of the ophthalmic field by means of cryoprobe soaked in liquid nitrogen.更多还原
