【Abstract】 In this paper investigation of source rock hydrocarbon-forming pyrolysis kinetics using Rock-Eval apparatus is presented taking Liaohe and Biyang source rock samples and assuming an overall first order reaction for the pyroly-sis process. Both the differential and integral methods are used for treating the experimental data.The apparent activation energy and frequency factor for the overall first order reaction are determined for each sample,which give oil yields in good agreement with laboratory results.更多还原
