【Abstract】 A flexible glass capillary column has been developed. An apparatus for drawing this column was homemade. The fresh-drawn glass capillary was coated externally with polyimide. It is strenthened and flexible similar to a fused silica column but using less expensive material and simpler drawing apparatus. The internal coating layer can be produced by using some procedures which are similar to those of rigid glass capillary, A column, of which internal surface is roughed with Silanox, is evaluated generally.
