【Abstract】 Molineus sichuanensis Wu et Zhang, sp. nov. This new species has distinct cephalic vesicle,possesses a cervical groove and slightly asymmetrical cervical papillae. The cuticle is covered with 20—24 longitudinal striations. The male is 3.890—6.085mm in length with prebural width of 0.072—0.092mm. No prebursal papillae could be seen. The bursa is trilobed and the anterior part of the bursal membrane is covered with minute spine-like bosses. Antero-lateral rays are short. The spicules are equal in length which are 0.132—0.159mm. Each spicule is divided into trifurcate distally;The interal limb is longer than both la- teral limbs which are also in equal length. Near the furcates, the spicules are surrounded by a thin spherical membrane. Gubernaculumis 0.082-0.094 mm in length. The female is 6.807—8.919mm long, the width of the body at the vulvar region 0.089—0.130mm. The vulva is situated in the posterior one sixth of the body. There are a spine of 0.015—0.019mm long and two subventro-lateral papillae at the caudal end. The elliptical eggs are 0.061- 0.076 by 0.039—0.042mm.
