【Abstract】 Amphipsylla desispina sp.nov. Diagnosis:The new species differs from any other known members of this genus.The modified segments are very peculiar with the following characters: Male:the movable process is large,semicircular,without spine but with 2 robust bristles on the posterior margin. There are about 16—18 marginal and submarginal setae below the bristles.Both the basal and apical arms of the Ⅸst.are narrow and small, with the median portion very large and very peculiar in shape(Fig. 2). The apex of crochet of phallosome is bitucated with the anterion lobe thumb-like and the posterior lobe seallop-like as shown in fig.4. Female: the posterior margin of Ⅶ St. straight, without sinus.The bulga of the spermatheca is oval, being much longer and wider than the hilla. Types:holotype male 2.3 mm; allotype female 2.5mm in length.paratype:3 males,collected from northwestern Sichuan off Crocidura suaveolens in 1960. All types are deposited in the Health and Antiepidenic Station of Sichuan. Discussion: Revision of the generic characters of Amphipsglla The following three points are propsed as a supplement to or revision of Wagner 1909:1)Frons with 2 or 3 rows of briStleS; 2) Anterior margin of pro- notal comb is concave or straight;3) Movable process variable in shape but nearly always broader apically than in middle, its posterior margin usually With two spiniform bristles (one at apical angle, the Other at ventral angle) , or Semiciri- cular,and not with 2 spiniform bristles in posterior margin, but with 2 robust bristles. Establishment of the desispina grcup. nov. Amphipsylla was divided into two groups——rossica and schelkovnikovi by Wagner 1909-1912. The new species iS relatively close to rossica and schelkovnikovi groups,but some of the characters are quite different. So it is necessary to estab- liSh the desispina group.更多还原
