【Abstract】 Tillering nodes of four winter wheat varieties grown in North China had been treated with-13°,-15°,-17°,-19°and-21℃ respectively for five hours,and then,their electrical conductivity values were determined. For comparison of their cold-hardiness,regressive coefficients"b"were analyzed.Results of this experiment are as follows: 1.Variety"HONG TU"is more resistant to cold injury than other wheat varieties; 2.Hardy wheat varieties usually have shorter and stronger midribs of leaves,more developed mechanical tissues,and more stomata in the epidermis of leaves than the non-hardy ones.It appears that these ana- tomical charateristics of hardy varieties are the consequences of their adaptation to environmental stresses(primariy low temperature and drought).更多还原
