【Abstract】 Based on the results reported before and the F₃ generations of five hybrid combinations in which cultivars Zhouri and Aiganhuang were major parents,the following conclusions could be clearly made:The plant height of Zhouri was further confirmed to be controlled by a major recessive gene,but associated probably with specific modifiers involved in the expression of this character,and the modifying effects appeared to be so intense that the typical single gene segregation might be blurred.The semidwarfism of Aiganhuang was found to be controlled, by polygenes as reported previously.The utility of both Zhouri and Aiganhuang′s germplasms in breeding sinica-type varieties needs to be exploited.更多还原
