【Abstract】 Human scrum Levels of aldosterone were determined in 132 subjects of different ages (20-95 years old) by radioimmunoassay.The mean serum level of aldosterone in group 1 aged 20-39,group 2 40-59,group 3 60-79 and group 4 over 90 was 185.2B±172.74pg/ml,178.90±167.40pg/ml,117.51±90.57pg/ ml and 75.10±35.11pg/ml,respectively.The results show no sigificant differences in serum levels of aldosterone between 20 and 59 years old but a gradualde-crease with aging(p>0.05 between group 1 and 2,p<0.05 comparing group 1 and 2 with group 3,p<0.01 with group 4,and p<0.05 betweem group 3 and 4),Also the mechanism of decrease in scrum levels of aldosterone after 60 years old of age is discussed.更多还原
