【Abstract】 In this paper four new species of the family Phytoseiidae are described. Type specimens are deposited in the Guangdong Institute of Entomology.Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) pineus sp. nov. (figs. 1-7)This species is closely related to Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) serrulatus Ehara 1972, but it can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 1) Dorsal shield reticulate only anterolateral margins. 2) Setae j3, z2, z3, to z4 and Z4 to S5 equal or longer than the distance between their bases of setae. 3) Macrosetae on leg IV much than the latter. Holotype female, allotype male, Hua Ping, Guangxi, 23. VI. 1982. on Pinus massoninana. Pa-tatypes 4 females data same as holotype. 3 females, 4. VI. 1982, Guangxi, Shinwandashan, on Vericia fordii.Phytoseius (Phytoseius) subtilis sp. nov. (figs. 8-12)This species resembles Phytoseius taianensis Liang et Ke 1981, but with without notoce-phalic pore near seta 25, and pilus dentilis on the fixed digit of chelicera. Shape of sperma-theca is different.Male: Unkown.Holotype female, Mt. Emei, Sichuan Province, 31. VII. 1982, host plant unkown. Pa-ratypes 5 females, data same as holotype.Amblyseius (Asperoseim) Omei sp. nov. (figs, 13-17)This species is similar to Amblyseius (Asperoseius) prunii Liang et Ke 1981 and Amblyseius (Asperoseius) heveae (Oudemans) 1930, but it differs from: 1) Setae j3. z4, s4 longer than prunii and heveae. 2) Setae R1 with smooth in this species, while small spines in the latter two species. 3) Shapes of ventrianal shield and spermatheca are different in three species.Male: Unkown.Holotype female, Mt. Omei. Sichuan Province, 5. VIII. 1982, on Phaseolus vulgaris. Paratypes 2 females, data same as holotype.Amblyseius (Amblyseius) compressus sp. nov. (figs. 18-24)This species is similar to Amblyseius (Amblyseius) haimatus Ehara 1967, 1972, but it differs from the latter by having setae j3, j6, J2, z2, z4, Z1, Z4, s4, S2 and S5 much shorter, and by having setae Z5 longer than the latter. The shape of male spermatodactyl and the numbers of preanal setae are different.Holotype female, allotype male, 29. VII. 1982 Mt. Emei Sichuan Province on Chry-sabthemum sp.
