蜜源花粉的生物学效应——Ⅰ.蜜源花粉对小鼠造血系统的辐射防护作用
Study on the Biological Effect of Pollens from Beehive——Ⅰ.The Radioprotective Effect on the Hematopoitic Tissues of the Irradiated Mice
【摘要】 <正>不少研究天然食品的营养学家观察到,蜜源花粉具有独特的营养价值及医疗作用.1960年以来的许多研究表明,当花粉掺合饲料饲养动物,不但体重增加而且肝脏、脾脏及内分泌腺体明显发达.有的报道还提到,花粉对治疗贫血有特殊的疗效,但有关花粉对辐射防护影响的报道,所见甚少. 本文从对小鼠造血系统包括骨髓、脾脏、胸腺以及外周血中有形成分变化的检测,探讨花粉对60Co-γ射线照射损伤的防护作用.
【Abstract】 The radioprotective effects of pollens collected from beehive were eval-uated through the pollen feeding experiment on the irradiated mice. In experiment, mice were exposed to y-ray irradiation from 60Co with doses ranging from 700 to 800 rad and submitted subsequently to pollen feeding as compared with the controlled group supplied with ordinary diet. The results of the experiments indicated that the survivor rate of the pollen feeding group (23.3%) were much higher than that of the control group (83.3%). The damage in the cellular components in the hematopoitic tissues caused by the irradiation exhibited in lesser extent in the pollen feeding groups than the corresponding control groups, and the recovery of the cell comonents in the myeloid, spleen, thymus and the peripheral circula-tion as well as the organ weight of spleen and thymus were well promoted by the feeding of beehive pollens. The rehabilitation of the myeloid cell populations and the T-cell lymphocytes be associated instantly to the res-toration of the hematopoitic and immunological activities in the irradiated mice. Thus the radioprotective effects of the Beehive pollen demonstrated in the experiments may be conducted through the promotion or the pro-liferative activities of the cells in the hematopoitic tissues,
