对两种深水石珊瑚鉴定的商榷

【摘要】 <正> 深水石珊瑚又称非造礁石珊瑚(ahermatypic coral),在世界各大洋中均有分布。按珊瑚体壁和隔片是否穿孔,以及隔片的组成图型,可将石珊瑚目(Madreporaria)分为有孔石珊瑚亚目(Madreporaria Perforata)和无孔石珊瑚亚目(Madreporaria Imper-forata)。在学习国内发表的有关文章后,结合作者自己的研究实践,觉得对上述两个亚目

【Abstract】 This paper describes the characteristics of two species of deep-sea corals,which belong to two suborders***********----Madreporaria perforate and Madreporariaimperforata.The identifications of the two species are completely different from those given by Zou Renlin and others in their article"The Primary Study on Deep Sea Madreporarian Corals in the East China Sea (I)".On the basis of research and diagnoses,we have also given the main distinctions between the two suborders.They are as follows:Madreporaria perforata 1.Numerous pores on the wall and septa are observed.Madreporaria imperforata 1.Pores on the wall and septa are not observed.2.Calice margin is integral,thickened and spongy.2.Calice margin is dentate,not thickened,nor is spongy.3.The septa of the fourth cycle are specific and divided into two branches,which are equal to the length of the septa of the first two cycles,and on the laterals of them separately.3.The septa of the fourth cycle are normal,without the two branches,and unequal to the septa of the first two cycles,nor are on their sides separately.4.The septa of the fourth cycle serve as a side and,with other septa but the septa of the first cycle,form a triangle.4.The septa of the fourth cycle do not form a triangle with the septa of other cycles. 5.The septa of the fourth cycle are much larger than those of the third cycle.5.The septa of the fourth cycle are smaller than those of the third cycle.
