【摘要】 本文在蒐集大量地质和地震活动资料的基础上,分析了上海及邻近地区的地质构造和地震活动的特征。文章讨论了上海及邻近地区地震活动的特点、地震地质背景、新构造运动的表现、活动性断裂对地震的控制作用,并初步划分了地震带、探讨了发震的构造部位及震源机制的现代构造应力场。文章指出,本区地震主要受北东向、北西向和近东西向三组断裂活动的控制,上海地区的断裂在近代显示了一定的活动性,从地震地质角度考虑,上海市有必要进一步加强抗震防震工作。

【Abstract】 Based on large amounts of data collected on geology and seismic activity,the present paper analysed the feature of geological structure and seismic activity in Shanghai and its vicinity. Here,discussed the feature of seismic activity,geological background of the earthquake,manifestation of neotectonic movement and controlling action of movable fracture to earthquake in Shanghai and its vicinity.Besides,the earthquake belts was divided preliminarily,and structural positions of occuring earthquake and current structural stress field of focus mechanism was explored.It was pointed out that the earthquake in this locality is controlled mainly by the activity of three sets of fractures trending North-East,North-West and approximately East-West directions.The fractures in Sdanghai area display certain activity in recent times.Considering from seismic and geological angles,the work of resisting and preventing earthquake of the city of Shanghai must be further enhanced.
