回转兼上下动搅拌器混合非牛顿流体时的功率消耗及混合特性
POWER CONSUMPTION AND MIXING CHARACTERISTICS OF A ROTATING ADDITIONAL UP-AND-DOWN MOTION FOR MIXING NEWTONIAN AND NON-NEWTONIAN FLUIDS
【摘要】 用回转兼上下动搅拌器混合高粘度牛顿流体和非牛顿流体时,在层流域测定了功率数KP、混合时间TM和Metzner常数KS。结果表明:该搅拌器的功率消耗可关联成NP·Re**=Kp/Ks1-n,使牛顿流体和非牛顿流体达到同样的混合效果;其能耗与通常的双螺带搅拌器相比,分别降低80%和65%以上,因而是一种值得推广的高效节能搅拌器。
【Abstract】 The power consumption Kp, mixing time Tm and Metzner constant K(?) of a rotating impeller with up-and-down motion were measured for mixing highly viscous Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids under a laminar regime. The power consumption was expressed by the equation:Np·Re = Kp/K1-n.Up to 80% and 65% energy for mixing Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids respectively may be saved with the complex agitator as compared with the helical ribbon agitator to the same degree of homogeneity. Therefore, it is a highly-effective and energysaving agitator and worth being applied.
