无规及末端嵌段丁苯共聚物的冷流性能测定
DETERMINATION OF THE COLD FLOW PROPERTIES OF THE RANDOM AND TERMINAL BLOCK BUTADIENE-STYENE COPOLYMERS
【摘要】 本工作考察了n-BuLi/t-BuOK与n-BuLi/THF两引发体系合成的无规及末端含聚苯乙烯短段嵌的丁苯橡胶的冷流性能,得到了橡胶冷流量(Cf)与温度(T)、外力(P)、粘均分子量(Mη)之间的经验关联式:P=K1Cf+B,K1=K2Mηα·exp(A/B)[(343—T)/343T]。式中,K1,K2,B,α,A均为表征橡胶冷流性能的参数。同时,以共聚物微观相分离的观点对末端聚苯乙烯短嵌段改善橡胶冷流性能的作用机理进行了分析和讨论。根据热力学平衡理论推算出的聚苯乙烯嵌段微观分相临界长度,与根据实验数据导出的结果基本相符。
【Abstract】 The cold flow properties of the random and terminal block butadi-ene-styrene copolymers produced by the K-BuLi/t-BuOK and the n-BuLi/ THF initiator systems have been studied, and empirical equations correlating the cold flow quantity of rubber (Cf), temperature (T), pressure (P) and the viscosity average molecular weight(Mη) have been obtained as follows ,P=K1Cf+Bwhere K1 , K2, B, A and α are the parameters characterizing the cold flow property of rubber. Based on the theory of micro-phase seperation of copolymers, the mechanism leading to the improvement of the cold flow properties of butadiene-styrene rubber by short polystyrene terminal blocking is discussed. The critical length of the polystyrene blocks which may possibly cause the micro-phase seperation of the butadiene-styrene copoly-mer has been calculated according to the theory of thermodynamic equilibrium, and is in reasonable agreement with that obtained experimentally.
