【Abstract】 This paper describes the application of the ELISA method to detecting rubella antibody. This ELISA method was compared with haemagglutination inhibition in a study of 300 specimens of umbilical serum. Of the 274 specimens with HAI titres of 1:8 or higher, 265 were positive by ELISA. The total discrepancy rate between two tests was only 4.3%. The ELISA is a simple, sensitive and effective method for detecting rubella antibody.更多还原
