【Abstract】 This paper reports the clinical results of external counterpulsation (ECP) combined selectively with some drugs, such as inderal, isosorbid dinitrate etc, in the treatment of 130 patients with various types of CAD. In this study, 130 cases had angina pectoris, and its therapeutic effect was 97.7%, 85 cases had ischemic ST-T change at rest, and the effeciency was 75.3%. 7 cases with chronic congestive heart failure and 23 cases with various of cardiac arrhythimias were treated with the some method. They all were proved to be satisfactory.Theoretically and practiclly it has been demonstrated that ECP combined selectively with some drugs in treatment of CAD can exert their adventage respectively and overcome their adverse effect with each other, so as to get more beneficial.
