静电复印用载体铁粉氧化膜的微观研究

【摘要】 用金相、X光、扫描电子显微镜和俄歇谱仪(AGUER)等对静电复印机用载体铁粉的氧化膜进行了微观分析和研究。结果表明:当载体铁粉氧含量为2%左右时,在其颗粒表面形成的Fe3O4膜层,厚度约2μm:当氧含量超过5%时,则载体铁粉中有一部分颗粒的氧化膜层显著加厚,甚至可达5—8μm,这种厚的氧化膜已不再是单一的Fe3O4膜,而是在Fe3O4膜与α—Fe基体之间出现的厚度不均匀的低价氧化铁(FeO)层。FeO的出现将降低载体铁粉的性能和使用寿命。

【Abstract】 The mcrostructure analysis and Study was made on the oxide membrane of the iron powder toner for electrostatic duplicator with optical microscope, X-ray,scanning electron microscopy and Aguer electron energy spectroscopy. The results indicated that when the oxygen content is about 2% a ferroferric oxide membrane of about 2μm thick was formed at the particle surface of iron powder toner and when the oxygen Content of iron powder toner is more than 5%,the thickness of ferroferric oxide membrane at the surface of some iron Powder particles will apparently thicken even if the thickness can increase to 5-8μm. However,it is not a single ferroferric oxide membrane, the ferrous oxide the thickness of which is not homogneous,isformed between the ferroferric oxide membrane and the α-Fe matrix. The presence of FeO will decrease the properties and the service life of the iron powder toner.
