【Abstract】 The rhesus monkeys for test were domesticated for more than 1 year or born in our laboratory. Twenty six males and sixty one females including 37 pregnant animals with a body weight of 2 -15 kg and approximately in age of 1-12 years were used. The physical conditions of these monkeys and the method of blood sample obtained were as the same as our former report. (Ding Zhengliang el al. 1983 Zool. Res. 4(3):267-278) The monkeys were kept in rooms housing 6-8 animals each with open system and natural light, temperature, and humidity. The animals were fed with a locally prepared diet and supplemented with cod liver oil and fresh fruits or different kinds of vegetables on the basis of market supplies. Tap water was offered ablibitum. Days of pregnancy were determined according to the breeding records and the intrarectal palpation of uterus.Serum calcium, serum inorganic phosphorus, SGOT and ACP were tested. The results are presented in Table 1 and the methods used in these tests are shown in corresponding column of the table.The comparison of serum total cholesterol among different stages of pregnancy is summarized in Table 2.The results are discussed and compared with findings in literature briefly.更多还原
