利用区域地震台网、振幅比资料测定小震震源参数
ON THE DETERMINING OF SOURCE PARAMETERS OFSMALL EARTHQUAKES BY USING AMPLITUDERATIOS OF P AND S FROM REGIONALNETWORK OBSERVATIONS
【摘要】 本文提出一种利用区域地震台网垂直向位移记录中和最大振幅的比值,由计算层状介质中点源位错的、综合地震图测定小震震源参数的方法。用人工数据检验该测定方法的可行性;并用此方法测定了海城地震(1975年2月4日,M_s=7.3)前震序列震源参数,与其他方法得到的结果作了对比分析。结果表明,本文提出的方法具有需用记录资料少的优点。
【Abstract】 In this paper, we propose a method for the determination of the source parameters of small earthquakes by means of synthetic seismograms of a point source of dislocation in a plane layered medium, using the maximum amplitude ratios of vertical component of P and S waves recorded by a regional network. We have determined the source mechanism solutions of eight foreshocks of Haicheng earthquake (Feb. 4,1975, Ms=7.3) by using this method from the records of 11-14 stations in Liaoning province, northeast China, and compared with the focal parameters determined by other methods. The results show that the present method has the advantage that it would attain comparable accuracy with less data.
