渤海东部一年冰单轴压缩强度的应变速率敏感性

【摘要】 研究了渤悔东部一年冰的单轴压缩特性,进行了系列实验。此处海冰属柱状晶结构。结果表明,压缩强度对于应变速率甚敏感。应变速率小于4.0X10-4秒-1时,强度随应变速率之增快而升高,表现为塑性变形及韧性破坏形式,而大于此值时,呈现脆性破坏,此即韧脆转变点,与国外结果相符。得出第一横向变形约为第二横向变形的百分之五十。

【Abstract】 A series of experiments were made to investigate the behaviours of Bohai Sea one-year ice under uniaxial compression in the winter of 1983. The construc- tion of this ice is columnar-grained-crystalline. The results show that the co- mpressive strength is very sensitive to the strain-rate. When the rate is less than 4.0X10-4 s-1, the strength will increase as the strain-rate increases, and the plastic deformation and ductile fracture will appear in the specimens. otherwise, the brittle fracture will appear. This value is known as the ductile-to-brittle tra- nsition point which coincides with those enumerated in the references. The first lateral deformation nearly equals half of the second one.
