从断层位移测量资料探讨川滇西部地区主要构造的现今活动特征
A STUDY ON FEATURES OF RECENT ACTIVITY ALONG MAJOR FRACTURE ZONES IN WEST SICHUAN-YUNNAN REGION USING DATA OF FAULT DISPLACEMENT
【摘要】 <正> 断层的活动方式、活动强度是反映区域构造应力场状态的重要标志之一。川、滇西部地区是我国构造比较复杂的多震区。近十多年来的精密短基线、短水准测量结果表明,该区构造活动幅度较大,其活动方式也存在一定的规律性,这为构造活动性以及区域应力场的研究提供了有意义的资料。
【Abstract】 Based on the data of fault displacement measured in the past decade or more from 14 sites along the Xianshuihe fracture zone, Xiaojiang fracture zone, Anninghe fracture zone and Honghe fracture zone, the directions of stresses acting upon the faults are inferred. The results show:1.According to the vectors of fault displacement, the directions of the compres-sive stresses mostly are NW-SE. Subjected to the principal compressive stresses in NW-SE direction, the nearly N-S striking faults are generally characterized by a counterclockwise compressive shearing, while the N-W striking faults by a counterclockwise tensile shearing.2.The tectonic activity in this region is quite intensive, with clear tendency, but behaves differently in places. Therefore, attentions should be given to those segments which are inactive or less active along these intensely active fracture zones in the future earthquake monitoring work.
