家兔侧脑室注射5-羟色胺对血糖浓度的影响

【摘要】 5-羟色胺(5—HT)是一种广泛地分布于中枢神经系统和外周组织中的重要的神经化学物质,参与机体多种生理功能,如体温,睡眠,内分泌以及镇痛等的调节。有人曾用兔、狗和大鼠做实验观察到,外周注射大剂量的5-羟色胺(5—25mg/kg)可以引起血糖的升高。一般认为,由于血脑屏障的存在、外周的5-羟色胺很难进入中枢,因此中枢和外周的。

【Abstract】 5-Hydroxytryptamine(Serotonin) was administrated into the lateral cerebroventricles of the rabbits through chronic fistula. The plasma glucose concentration was determined by the glucose oxidase, peroxidase, chromogen method. The results showed that the intracerebroventricular injection of serotonin caused a significant increase in plasma glucose concentration. The peak values appeared at 30-45 min after administration and this effect lasted for more than 90 min. The hyperglycemic effect was dose-dependant when the doses injected were between 50-400 μg. For instance, the plasma glucose concentrations were increased by 24%,38%. and 54% when the doses were 100, 150 and 200*g respectively. Serotonin-induced hyperglycemia was markedly reduced or abolished after spl-anchnicotomy and it was not affected by atropine s. c. Thus, it is suggested that the central effect of serotonin on plasma glucose is mainly mediated by sympatho-adrenal system.
