【Abstract】 This paper presents the results of a series of studies on bovine leukosis (BL)and includes: (1) a description of the clinical symptoms in 64 cases; (2) histopathological examination of 47 cases of lymphosarcomas; (3) on the aetiology of BL, in which a C-type virus was detected by electon microscopic examination, propagated in FLKBLV cell line, and BLV gp antigen prepared; (4) the microimmunoffusion (MID) test was suggested as a diagnostic method and a key of haematological examination (NAC key) was presented; (5) an epidemiological study of BLV infection in 1,402 cows by the use ofimmunodiffusion (ID) test and MID test; (6) a study on the pathogenesis of BL in 4 parts: the genetic factor, the aberration of chromosomes, isolation of Trypancsoma theileri from the lymphocyte culture of infected cows, and the changes of elements and trace elements in the hairs of the infected cows; and (7) a trial on treatment.更多还原
