甘蔗不同材料育苗移栽的节种增产效果比较

【Abstract】 Controverslal views have been expressed on the adoption of suitable cuttings planted in the nurseries before transplanting.During 1979 and 1980 experiments were conducted to clarify the controversy, and the results were as follows:1.The adoption of single-bud cutting, bud-piece cutting, top-shaft cutting and tissue-culture plant can save cuttings, but the cut-surfaces of single-bud cutting were easily infected by bacteria, resulting in nutrient deterioration; the small bud-piece with even large cutsurfaces could accelerate the deterioration process and weaken the sprouting in seedlings; the top-shaft cutting bested more immature nodes and shoots while sprouting was weak and growth irregular; the tissueculture plant had thin and easily stumble stems.As a result, the four types of cuttings used have caused greater reduction in cane production than the double-bud cutting that was not planted in the nursery (the control).2. The double-bud cutting showed healthy seedlings with fast growth. Although there existed a certain "stunting period" after transplanting, these cuttings may be planted in nurseries more than a month earlier, and the growing period was actually prolonged, with the ultimate result of boosting the cane production higher both in yield and sucrose content than the control.3. To obtain stronger and healthier seedlings, intensive field management is necessary in order to shorten the "stunting period", save the cuttings and increase the cane proudction.
