双尾船型的试验研究
INVESTIGATION OF TWIN-SCREW SHIP WITH TWIN STERNS
【摘要】 双尾船型的阻力性能,在F_n数较低时,可与目前优秀的长江双桨船媲美,而在中、高速时较目前优秀的长江双桨船为佳。在推进性能方面,由于双尾船型的推力减额下降,而伴流提高,因此,双尾船有较高的船身效率,总的推进效率可提高15~25%。
【Abstract】 The application of twin-stern to twin-screw passenger liners cruising between Shanghai and Chongqing has resulted in good energy-saving effect. This paper presents results of the twin-stern ship model test analysis of its speed performance and characteristics of ship’s lines design.Because each propeller is situated behind each skeg in a twin-stern ship, it can get a larger wake fraction and a amaller thrust-deduction coefficient hence hull efficiency is increased. The reduction of propeller advance speed will lead to a slight reduction of propeller efficiency still the propulsive coefficient will increase considerably.At present, twin-stern ship is one of the preferable ship forms for Changjiang River operation and passenger liners of this kind are being constructed.
