【Abstract】 A patient’s son of 87 days old had congestive heart failure for 48 days. It wasdiagnosed as subacute Keshan disease. Atrial tachycardia and heart conduction blockwere shown by the electrocardiography,and cardiomegaly was demonstrated by a chestX-ray. The baby died of congestive heart failure 2 days after hospitalization. Pa-thologic examination revealed that there were diffusive myocardial necrosis and irr-eversible ultrastructural changes in myocardium. Keshan disease is an endemic myocardiopathy and it’s etiology is still not known. It usually attacks countrymen, part-iculraly female adults and weanlings.This paper reports that it may occur in a babyeven younger than 3 mouths old.更多还原
