地方性甲状腺肿和克汀病病区人工引产胎儿骨骼的研究

【摘要】 <正> 地方性克汀病的病因和发病机理目前尚未完全阐明。大量动物实验资料表明,胚胎期缺碘导致甲状腺功能低下,神经、骨骼等系统发育成熟等过程障碍,胎儿出生后即发生克汀病。关于缺碘对人胚影响的直接证据,文献中报导不多,我们曾报导了在地方性甲状腺肿和克汀病病区人工引产胎儿中缺碘对甲状腺及大脑皮质发育的影响,本文再将这一批引产胎儿的骨骼变化报告如下。

【Abstract】 In 30 artificially aborted fetuses at the intrauterine ages of the 4th to 8thmonth from an endemic goiter and cretinism region in Guizhou Province,the bo-nes were studied with roentgenography and morphologic methods. The serumT3,T4 and TSH were assayed. The results were compared with that of 20 otherartificially aborted fetuses of the same intrauterine ages from a nongoitrousdistrict. Of the endemic group, 4 cases showed osteoporosis of the extremitybones, and 5 showed osteohalisteresis, abnormal deposition of calcium crystals inthe bone marrow as well as osteoporosis. Most of these cases also exhibited lowe-red serum T4 and elevated serum TSH. It is assumed that the increase of PTHand calcitonin secretion stimulated by TSH might account for the bony changes.
