【Abstract】 A Preliminary study of the characteristics of 12 strains of Brucella-phagewas undertaken with special reference to their PFU, RTD and to plaque morph-ology in 5 of them.The results showed that PFU from 7 host （Brucella Spp.）strains were 10^9-11whereas from another 5 were 10^6-8.Our experiments demonstra-ted that RTD of 3 strains was found to be 10^-4, 6 strains 10^-2, and 3 strains10^-1.The plaque morphology of 5 phages were compared after an incubation of18h.They varied greatly with different phage strains when adapted to differenthost species.A large and clear plaque was revealed in R/O strains, and that ofBK2 appeared quite small, and sometimes difficult to be distinguished.更多还原
