宏观质量系统对称破缺与Weber源——引力辐射源的特性探讨之二

【摘要】 从以前研究知道,对于一个旋转的宏观质量系统,它的几何形状表征的内部不对称性将引起引力辐射。这种内部不对称性对辐射强度的影响可由其赤道椭率∈e描述。据此,本文进一步指出,旋转的引力辐射源又将由它的形状和外部空间不对称而产生进动。它对地球上观察者来说,见到的引力辐射将是周期性地出现。以银核内某个均匀质量的旋转Jacobi椭球(a≥b>c)源为例,给出的再现周期为:Tre=to ρstar(a2+b2+2c2)c/l其中,ρstar为源的质量密度,l是星体源到银核中心的距离。to在CGS单位制下to≈4.8×1010秒·厘米/克。最后,并应用上式于银核内出现Weber辐射源的各种可能天体作了简单的分析和讨论。

【Abstract】 It is known (from another paper) (6)that a rotating macroscopic mass-system will radiate the gravitational waves of its geometric shape is unsymmetric.The dominace of this intrinsic unsymmetry over the power of gravitational radiation is indicated by its equatorial ellipticity ∈e.Furthermore, in this paper we have shown that a rotating source of gravitational radiation can make its axis of rotation to precess as long as its shape and its surroundings are unsymmetric. As a result, the observer on earth would see a periodic radiation. For example, in respect to a rotating celestial body of homogeneous mass which is inside galactic nucleus and in shape of Jacobi ellipsoids (a≥b>c),of which axis of rotation is not inertial axis, we would see a periodic radiation of gravitational waves with the reappearing period,Tre=to ρstar (a2 + b2+2c2) c/1where ρstar is the mass density of the celestial body, 1— the distance from the body to galactic center, and in C.G.S. unitst0≈4.8×1010sec.cm/gram .we have applied this fomula to a variety of possible sources inside galactic system, that Weber had a examined. The results gained through estimation are listed in following table.
