【Abstract】 This paper briefly reviews the exploration history of Sinian gas pool in a number of structures since Wei- yuan gas field was found. According to the information of paleostructure development provided by seismic exp- loration, it is pointed out that certain relations of the Sinian gas pool with the Caledonian paleouplift may exist in this region.
