【Abstract】 In this paper we reported the blood pressure of children, 8-9 years old, each measured with 3 different sizes cf cuff. The results showed that if the cuff used was too narrow for the child’s arm length, the reading was higher than that measured with a suitable cuff; if too wide a cuff was used, the reading was lower than that with a suitable one.Another experiment was done on measuring the blood pressure of each child for 3 times in succession. It was found that the first reading of both the systolic and dias-tolic pressure was significantly higher than the second, and second higher than the third. But the difference between the second and third readings was not significant statistically. It was found that in taking the diastolic pressure, the point of muffling of heart sound (at the 4 th Korctkovv phase) was difficult to catch, and the disappearance of heart sound was easier for the health personnel to determine, and therefore the readings would be more accurate.更多还原
